A Danaos Corp-owned boxship is leaking fuel at a terminal in New Jersey.
The US Coast Guard said on Tuesday that a small crack in the ship's hull was allowing fuel oil to seep out of the 6,572-teu YM Mandate (built 2010) and into New York Harbor.
The ship is said to be docked at the Global Container Terminal in Bayonne, New Jersey.
