All 20 crew have been evacuated from a burning bulker at Port Kembla in Australia.
The operation to contain the blaze on the 51,000-dwt Iron Chieftain (built 1993) could last for days, according to AAP.
The fire broke out in the cargo hold of the CSL iron ore carrier on Monday as it unloaded dolomite.
Booms are in place to contain any spills.
