BW LPG incident off Panama also involved Eneos ship

An near the entrance of the Panama Canal involved two of the largest operators of VLGCs in the world.

It has emerged that the vessel that hit BW LPG's 84,134-cbm VLGC BW Gemini (built 2015) on Saturday was the 78,918-cbm VLGC Sunny Bright (built 2004).

That vessel is owned by Eneos Ocean, the shipping arm of the giant Japanese energy group Eneos.
