The crew of a BW Gas LNG carrier managed to fend off a pirate attack in the hostile waters of the Gulf of Guinea on Saturday.
The 150,000-cbm LNG Lokoja (built 2006), which is on long-term charter to the Nigeria LNG project, was attacked during the morning of 28 December when it was passing between the islands of Sao Tome and San Antonio.
