A fire broke out aboard an APL boxship off the coast of western India Friday night.
According to the Indian Coast Guard and local media reports, the fire started on the 10,106-teu APL Le Havre (built 2012) while the ship was about 40 nautical miles offshore.
The cause of the fire is not known, but it reportedly struck four containers.
