Azerbaijan's Caspian Shipping Company has acquired a motor hopper barge from Russian owner GidroTrans.
It said the 1,100-dwt Bakinskaya 6 (built 1988) cost $650,000, according to Azer Press.
CSC is listed with 106 ships, many of them tankers, ro-ros and general cargoships.
Last year, it ordered two 8,000-dwt tankers at domestic shipbuilder Baku Shipyard.
