Speculation suggesting BW Dry Cargo has sold the first vessel it purchased as part of its asset play project are off the mark, TradeWinds is told.
Chatter in the sale-and-purchase market was connecting Diana Shipping with the 82,000-dwt BW Acorn (built 2010).
TradeWinds reported in October that the Oshima-built kamsarmax had been circulated for sale but it is understood no deal is yet in place with Diana or any other buyer.
