Indonesian bulker player Gurita Lintas Samudera is widely reported this week as buying a supramax bulker from Turkey’s Yasa Shipping.
The privately-owned company is said to be paying $10.6m for the Mitsui Tomano-built, 56,000-dwt Yasa Ozcan (Indonesian built 2006).
The vessel is one of two Yasa supramaxes that were linked to possible sales deals back in September, although only the 56,000-dwt sistership Yasa Gulten (built 2005) was sold at that time.
