Taiwan's Wisdom Marine Lines is closing in on an ultramax purchase.
Directors have approved a deal for a 63,700-dwt vessel for no more than $26.5m, it said.
It named the counter-party as Chijing Shipping.
In October, the board approved the acquisition of a 38,000-dwt bulker for $23.5m. No counter-party was listed, however.
Earlier this month, the company told TradeWinds it would continue to expand and renew its fleet through newbuildings as it flatly denied market talk that it was the buyer of a modern Japanese-built supramax.
