The heads of Western Bulk's two most profitable business units and five other employees have resigned, with almost all of them bound for rival operator Belships, TradeWinds has learned.
Jan Christian Tungland is joining Belships from his position as vice president of Western Bulk's business unit covering steel and other dry bulk cargoes in continental Europe and the Mediterranean. He has held the job since 2010.
