The effect of US sanctions has left more than 20 bulkers stuck in Iranian ports for over a month.
This is according to trade sources cited by Reuters, who said unloading of grain cargoes had been held up by payment processing delays.
Humanitarian supplies are exempt from US sanctions, but the measures have still deterred overseas banks from doing business there.
