A bulker, its purported manager and an allegedly affiliated owner have been slapped with US sanctions as the country tries to break up a Houthi finance network spread across Asia.

The US Treasury Department said on Tuesday that Aurum Ship Management ran the 18,3115-dwt Light Moon (built 1996) for Sa’id al-Jamal, an Iran-based Yemen national accused of providing Houthi rebels with tens of millions of dollars of support.
