Union Maritime has secured a healthy profit from the sale of a panamax bulker it bought when the market bottomed out in 2016.
The 76,000-dwt Harrow (built 2005) has changed hands for $9.1m, brokers said.
This is about 40% more than the UK shipowner paid for the Sasebo Heavy Industries-built vessel from Japan's Toyo Kaiun in October 2016, when it was the Red Queen.
