Taiwan’s largest bulker owner, U-Ming Marine Transport, continues to expand its orderbook, booking two new contracts in China.
The Taipei-listed shipowner has turned to Qingdao Beihai Heavy Industry for a pair of 180,000-dwt bulker newbuildings to be delivered in 2028.
In a regulatory filing, U-Ming said it is paying between $75m and $79m per ship.
