Dubai-based Tomini Shipping appears set to double its money in an investment on a now 22-year-old handymax bulker.
Shipbroking sources in the US say the 45,000-dwt Tomini Amity (built 1995) has gone to a Ukrainian buyer for $4.2m. Tomini did not respond to requests for comment.
The Tsuneishi-built vessel has a favourable class position. It is not due for special survey until August 2020.
