Norway's Tidemand group is set on renewal of its fleet of supramax bulkers with the sale of a Japanese-built, 12-year-old unit.
Its subsidiary Stove Shipping has declared a sale option for the Kawasaki-built, 55,000-dwt Stove Phoenix (built 2007), which according to market sources has been taken by a Vietnamese buyer for $11.3m.
Tidemand director Kristin Tidemand Eckhoff did not respond to a request for comment.
