Technomar Shipping has trimmed its bulker fleet with the sale of a 10-year-old supramax.
European brokers said the Greek bulker and containership owner has sold the 57,000-dwt Xenofon XL (built 2010) to an undisclosed buyer.
The Cosco Zhoushan Shipyard-built vessel, which is due for a special survey, has reportedly fetched $7.2m, brokers said.
That is lower than the $9.17m estimate by valuation platform VesselsValue as prices slide for bulkers of the Xenofon XL's characteristics.
