Greek bulker and containership owner Technomar Shipping continues to expand its fleet and has acquired two Chinese-built panamax bulkers from German interests.
Sources say Technomar is buying the Jiangsu-built 79,000-dwt Selandia (built 2011) and Burgia (built 2010). A price of $26.7m en bloc is mentioned.
Technomar managers were not available to comment on the information.
The price appears quite attractive for the buyer, with VesselsValue saying the duo is worth $28m.
