Star Bulk has confirmed the sale of one of its older supramax bulkers at the same time as it fleet swelled with the arrival of larger vessels purchased last year.
Petros Pappas-led Star Bulk said the 52,400-dwt Star Delta (built 2000) has been sold and was delivered to her new owner on 8 January.
No price was disclosed for the Japan-built supramax, but VesselsValue estimates the ship to be worth $7.3m.
