Australia’s drought is curtailing its grain exports in a move likely to boost dry bulk tonne mile demand as buyers look further afield for imports.
“Shipments of wheat and coarse grains combined in 2019 are on track to be even weaker than last year’s decade low,” said Simpson Spence & Young (SSY) in its latest monthly report.
