Shipbrokers are linking Sinokor Merchant Marine to the purchase of seven capesize bulkers in two en bloc transactions.
It comes at the same time as the shipowner is thought to be busy on the newbuilding scene with the purchase of both bulk carriers and tankers.
Sinokor is said to have swept up three scrubber-fitted capesize resales under construction in China in a deal broking sources believe to be priced in the region of $150m.
