Norway's Seven Seas Carriers has become the latest shipowner to pick off a bulker from the fleet of the now defunct United Ocean.
Bergen-based Seven Seas bought the Oshima-built, 51,000-dwt Ocean Promise (built 2010) in what marks a notable expansion of its fleet.
The vessel was sold in August by trustees of collapsed Japanese owner United Ocean for $11.9m to an undisclosed buyer.
