Seacon Shipping Group has placed an order for two 40,000-dwt bulkers at Namura Shipbuilding in Japan.
The ships will cost $33.4m each and will be delivered in late 2025.
Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed Seacon said it would be paying for the vessels over four instalments, including a tail-heavy final payment of $20.9m
