Safeen Feeders, the liner arm of Abu Dhabi’s AD Ports Group, has acquired two supramax bulkers to kickstart its recently announced move into dry bulk in collaboration with Bangladeshi conglomerate Said Powertec.
Both bulkers, which have been delivered to the United Arab Emirates-based company, have been bought from Chinese companies.
The 57,100-dwt Al Saad (built 2010) was acquired from Pacific Linking as Orient Lucky for a reported $17.9m,
