A Gudzon Shipping vessel has been barred by Russia from delivering a humanitarian cargo to North Korea.

Interfax reported that maritime agency Rosmorrechflot declined to allow the Russian owner's 3,100-dwt aggregates carrier Bella (built 1988) from transporting 3,000 tonnes of wheat.

This is according to Gudzon deputy general director Valery Uliskin.

Gudzon was blacklisted by the US last year for violating UN sanctions against North Korea by allegedly participating in ship-to-ship transfers of oil to North Korean-flagged vessels.
