Greek owner Pyxis Tankers has emerged as the buyer of a Safe Bulkers kamsarmax whose sale was announced on Monday.
The Nasdaq-listed company said it had agreed to acquire an unnamed 82,013-dwt bulk carrier built in 2015 at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding in China.
The ship is fitted with a ballast water treatment system and scrubber.
