A sale of a post-panamax bulker owned by a Japanese company has provided a positive new price level for such tonnage, brokers say.
Reports suggest the 98,700-dwt Ten Jin Maru (uilt 2011) has been sold at a price of $21.5m.
Sources tell TradeWinds some believe the price for the ship could be even higher, however, a buyer has yet to be confirmed.
