Bulker specialist Polish Steamship (PZM), also known as Polsteam, has returned to Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co (DSIC) for more handysize lakes-fitted bulk carrier newbuildings.
China State Shipbuilding Co (CSSC) revealed that the European shipowner has signed up for four 37,000-dwt newbuildings, lifting the order tally to eight. Polsteam’s previous quartet was inked earlier this year.
Shipbuilding sources following Chinese newbuilding activities said that, like the earlier four newbuildings, Polsteam’s latest vessels will also be constructed by DSIC’s subsidiary shipyard, Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding.
