Polaris Shipping of South Korea has reportedly disposed of another of its older ore carriers.
It sold the 266,600-dwt Stellar Fair (built 1990) for scrap for $457 per ldt, or $15.2m, brokers report. Polaris bought the ship as the tanker Titan Pisces for conversion in July 2008. The Stellar Fair is due for special survey in July 2021.
Epidaurus of Greece has sold the 29,900-dwt Kyriakos (built 1997).
