S&P Global Platts has started publishing dual time charter equivalent (TCE) assessments for both scrubber and non-scrubber bulkers.
The first assessments basis 0.5% sulfur marine fuel and individual scrubber premium indexes for capesize, panamax, ultramax and supramax class ships began on Friday.
The launch of these assessments comes just two months ahead of the introduction of new IMO 2020 sulfur limits in marine fuels.
