Turkey’s Pearl Naval has sold one of its two bulkers, while turning its attention to smaller vessels serving niche markets.
Company chairman Burak Alkoc confirmed to TradeWinds the sale of the 33,200-dwt handysize vessel MS Atlantic (built 2010). The ship fetched about $5.5m, including bunkers and lubricants on board, Alkoc said.
Equasis shows the Chinese-built vessel currently trading as Nodus in the fleet of Seadar Shipmanagement.
