Talk linking Pacific Basin Shipping with a handysize bulker buy is off the mark.
Brokers have this week been connecting the Hong Kong-listed owner with the 28,500-dwt Valente Angel (built 2007).
A price around the $7m mark had been placed on the Japanese built ship.
Sources close to Pacific Basin say the chatter is false and the company has not bought the bulker.
