Henning Oldendorff has topped up his baby-cape fleet with the purchase of four vessels from Interorient Navigation and the time charter of two more.
The German bulker giant has been heading a revival in the baby-cape market and the latest deal will take its presence in the sector to 40 vessels.
Oldendorff is buying the 115,000-dwt Orient Sun (built 2013), the Orient Strength (built 2012) and the 2010 built Orient Champion and Orient Crusader, it said in a statement today.
