OceanPal landed in the black for the third quarter, a year after Diana Shipping spun off the company with three of its older bulkers.
The Elephtherios Papitrifon-led shipowner, which bought a fourth bulker from Diana in June, reported $1.1m in bottom-line net income for the three-month period, versus an $8,000 loss for the same period in 2021, mostly due to start-up costs.
