New Vision Shipping of Greece is reportedly expanding its fleet buying an eight-year-old supramax bulker from K Line of Japan.
The Kawasaki-built 55,000-dwt Luisia Colossus (built 2010) is changing hands for $14m, according to European shipbrokers. Some say the price is as high as $14.8m.
New Vision did not reply to requests for comments.
The company last made a move in the sale and purchase market in November selling the Mitsui-built 56,000-dwt bulker New Kosmos (built 2005) for $11.15m.
