Navios Maritime Partners has bought a capesize and a panamax bulk carrier from its sister company, Navios Maritime Holdings.
Navios gave no explanation for the change in ownership of the 181,336-dwt capesize Navios Gem and 77,095-dwt panamax Navios Victory (both built 2014).
The New York-listed limited partnership spent $51m in total in acquiring the vessels, subject to working capital adjustments, a release said on Thursday.
