Greek shipowner Stamatis Molaris has sold a 16-year-old, Japanese-built capesize bulker.
US brokers identified his Alma Maritime as being behind the sale of the 176,000-dwt Iron Fritz (built 2003) for $12.3m.
VesselsValue estimates that a ship with the characteristics of the Nippon Kokan Koji Corp-built capsize is worth $10.2m, while Maritime Strategies International estimates it at $13.3m.
The Iron Fritz passed special survey in February 2018.
