Greece's M/Maritime has added a Japan-built kamsarmax bulker to its fleet, according to brokers' reports.
The Athens-based owner has purchased the 81,100-dwt Puppis Ocean (built 2014) from Mitsubishi Corp's Singapore subsidiary Diamond Star Shipping for a reported $24m.
VesselsValue.com estimates the ship's current market value to be around $22.05m.
Barely two years old, M/Maritime has grown its managed fleet from scratch to nine vessels, including this new acquisition.
