Lauritzen Bulkers has added to its chartering and freight capacity, taking over Canada’s Alexander & Blake (A&B).
The new addition is a breakbulk and parcel shipping company.
No financial details were disclosed, but Lauritzen said the acquisition adds valuable competencies and strong client relations.
A&B has customers in core trades in the North and South American markets.
