Lauritzen Bulkers has poached its new head of global operations from one of its rivals, Norden.

Mette Stenild Gron will join the company from 1 January 2020 and will be based from Lauritzen's head office in Copenhagen.

Niels Josefsen, chief executive of Lauritzen Bulkers, said Gron’s "proven, hands-on capabilities" will be a good fit with the firm's operations teams worldwide.
