Norwegian group Torvald Klaveness has extolled the virtues of its internship programme as it continues to develop expertise at the company.
Nora Thysse Westad joined last August as part of an 18-month maritime trainee programme, while Haruki Chua became an intern in 2017.
Chua is currently a charterer on the supramax desk in Singapore and has completed a study to identify opportunities in the Persian Gulf.
