US-based shipping investor JP Morgan has struck again on the secondhand market for big bulkers.

Broking sources in London identify the financial house as the buyer of the 179,200-dwt Spartacus (built 2011).

The ship, built at Sungdong Shipbuilding & Engineering in South Korea, is said to have fetched $18.8m.

Current owners of the ship is Victor Restis-controlled Enterprises Shipping & Trading (EST), managers of which were not available to comment.
