Unidentified Greek buyers are believed to have spent up to $17.5m to acquire the 180,200-dwt Ocean Compass (built 2006), according to brokers in Athens and London.
Top-notch names such as Tsakos Shipping & Trading and Golden Union have been mentioned as possible buyers.
