Iskenderun Ship Management has been one of the busiest Turkish players in the secondhand market in recent months, with a string of well-timed bulker acquisitions that have already appreciated in value.
Its latest acquisition was the 50,200-dwt Bene (renamed Bozburun-M, built 2001), which entered its fleet earlier in March. Croatia’s Jadroplov reportedly sold the vessel in January to undisclosed buyers for $5.1m.
