Argentine shipowner Interocean has bought its sixth post-panamax vessel in just over three years as it continues to expand its bulker fleet.
US brokers said the 93,000-dwt Scotian Express (built 2011) has been purchased from Dutch owner Vroon for $16.7m. Neither company responded to requests for comment.
Private equity-backed Interocean has quietly been building up its fleet.
