Hong Kong-based Honwin Shipping’s only bulk carrier has been arrested in Singapore.
The 57,300-dwt bulk carrier Honwin (built 2009) was seized at the request of Marco Polo Shipping on Saturday.
Court records that TradeWinds was able to access indicate that the tug and barge division of the Singapore-based Marco Polo Marine is seeking payment or security for collision damage it claims the Honwin caused to one of its barges in 2022.
