South Korea’s HMM continues to invest in newbuildings despite the company being up for sale.
The Seoul-based shipping company has ordered four scrubber-fitted 38,000-dwt multipurpose/heavylift vessels at China’s CSSC Guangzhou Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding.
A source familiar with HMM confirmed the newbuilding deal at the Chinese shipyard.
