Himalaya Shipping shares rallied after yesterday’s surprise private placement.
The stock rose as much as 6.6% to NOK 64.70 ($6.10).
The offer shares in the private placement were priced at NOK 60.50.
DNB Markets upgraded Himalaya to “hold” from “sell”, as the equity issue gives an “added cushion into better markets”.
