Tor Olav Troim's Himalaya Shipping has banked another $50m to fund its new LNG-fuelled bulkers in China.
The company, listed on Norway's over-the-counter exchange, has 12 newcastlemaxes on order at New Times Shipbuilding for delivery in 2023 and 2024.
On 5 October, it launched a private placement of shares at $7 each to raise $45m.
