Shipowners need more help from yards and engine manufacturers to cope with decarbonisation, the head of a group of London-based Greek shipping companies said.
“While many shipping companies are committing themselves to zero net carbon by 2050, nobody yet has come up with a viable alternative to our tried and tested fuels,” said Haralambos "Harry" Fafalios, chairman of the Greek Shipping Cooperation Committee (GSCC).
